Everyone play poker nowadays, may it be a woman or a man, you will really see them playing the big pot and merely playing for a whole lot of things. Well, there might be times when you will be thinking on how they could ever manage to have the best thing to have in this field as long as the amount is also at stake.
In Norway, Annette Obrestad is by far the youngest person to win the World Series bracket and also the first woman who was able to win a WSOP Main Event. She finished the 362 entrants by this time and was able to win 10,000 pounds for that. As she has won this field, it is a great thing for her career to boost up and to be able to make a way and deal with this properly. If you may be thinking that she was just able to play with her luck on these times, you cannot imagine hoe this 19 years old woman was able to get on her shoes on the 2007 Main Event final Table in Las Vegas making her call herself the World Champion. As you can see, she can never be ashamed of herself when doing this because of the fact that she cannot be beaten by all of the other players in this field. She had all these players on her side as follows: Johannes Korsar with 1,134,000, Oyvind Riisem with 664,000, John Tabatabai with 982,000, Annette Obrestad with 697,000, Dominic Kay with 490,000, Matthew McCullough with 1,278,000, Theo Jorensen with 605,000, Magnus Persson with 1,231,000 and James Keys with 172,000.
Keys was not able to make it though when he decided that he will go all in on the mid third of the day’s game, his card shown a queen of hearts and a ten of spade, along with this call, Persson grabbed on with it with an ace of clover and a nine of clover. When the board cam to show on all of the cards, Keys was eliminated and Persson got it and was able to finish of with a 61,540 and be on the ninth place for that matter.
The oldest person on the table is Jorgensem who was also a poker pro and knows on hoe to take the real deal of what he could. He went on next to Persson on the 8th place garnering a total amount of 85,070. It was such a great play for him as he was able to reach this final table but unfortunately, the stakes are not for him to have. He was at battle with Tabatabai when there is no more help that he can turn to. Instantly, Tabatabai was able to get rid of Jorgensen with his flashing cards.
As the second day arrives, most of the players are getting on their nerves, as they are also one of the greatest players on land. Persson was able to make it for Tabatabai who called in with his king of spade and ten of hearts. Well, when the final cards were flashed, he picked up a total of 114,030 as he was ousted on the game.
For the luck of Dominic Kay, he followed Persson after battling with McCullough. He had the big blind with cards of six of hearts and six of diamonds while McCullogh called in with an 8 of hearts and 8 of spades. Once again, upon having the cards shown, it was 8 of clover, none of spades and 5 of diamonds on the first flop. So, whom do you think won? For that, Kay was gone on the sixth place with a total amount of 154,040.
As soon as Kay was gone, the game was slowed down and was able to be on the hanging place. Korsar called for a king of diamond and a jack of spades while counteract for this is Tabatabai who have a six of spades and a six of diamonds. The cards were down and so was Korsar who had 191,860 and had the fifth place on the competition.
Riisem followed by when he called all in against McCullogh who have the Ace of hearts and the ace of spades while, Riisem was of no help for his cards on hand. Though Riisem was not able to reach on to the final 1, he walked away with 257,020.
The remaining three was really one of the hardest players on land. McCullough was able to make a great deal out of Tabatabai who managed to have a better card than that from McCullough. As he already called on it knowing that he has a pair of Jack on the flop. But, when the turn came, there came an ace that brought Tabatabai to have a higher pair of aces on hand. McCullough went home with a total amount of 381,910.
The last two was now Obrestad and Tabatabai. When Obrestad had a pair of seven, she went all in and Tabatabai on the other hand called in as well with a 5 and a 6, knowing that he has already two pairs. When the card were opened, Obrestad was able to win the big pot of 1,000,000 in total while Tabatabai won 570,150 for that play.
You as Obrestad may seem, she will always be the Champion when it comes to poker. Unfortunately because of her age, she cannot play the 2008 WSOP so I guess she have to wait up for the right time that she can legally play it.
